About Us
The Chang laboratory is a member of the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Tropical Medicine at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. In addition, we work closely with clinical and laboratory partners in Barranquilla, Colombia.
We study diagnostics and therapies to treat the complications of viral infections spread by mosquitos such as chikungunya, dengue and zika.

Research Interests
The Chang Lab focuses on researching Chikungunya virus, Dengue fever vascular permeability syndrome, and Zika-induced Guillain-Barré syndrome.
